About NSW CIS

The NSW Combined Independent Schools Sports Council (CIS) provides students and staff from independent schools across New South Wales with structured pathways to state and national-level competition.

Established in 1995 and incorporated in 2017, CIS partners with member schools and affiliated sporting associations to facilitate participation in a wide range of sports—from athletics and cricket to swimming, rugby, and beyond—ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-performance environment
