NSW All Schools – 2026 November Triathlon and Aquathlon Championship

This event serves as a selection trial for the 2027 NSW All Schools Triathlon & Aquathlon teams. Age divisions are determined by the competitors age as of 31st December 2027.

N.B. Schools entering students in Triathlon and/or Aquathlon events may be required to provide a Teacher/School Official to act as an Official at the event.
- Junior – born on or before 31st December 2013, 2014, 2015
- Intermediate – born on or before 31st December 2011, 2012
- Seniors – born on or before 31st December 2008, 2009, 2010
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
This event is for students from secondary schools and Year 6 students.
Secondary students are eligible to compete in both individual and team events.
Year 6 students are eligible to compete in the individual events only.
Registration details will be published once finalised.

COST INFO
Triathlon individual entry fee $60.00 per person (including GST)
Aquathlon individual entry fee $45.00 per person (including GST)
Teams’ entry fee $75.00 per team (including GST)
Refunds will be at the discretion of each school sector.

PARKING
Parking is available at the venue. Please allow 15 minutes to walk from the carpark to the grandstand / marshalling area.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event of the cancellation of the swim leg, the NSW All Schools Triathlon Championship will transition to a duathlon and the NSW All Schools triathlon team will be selected based on duathlon times and a submitted and verified 400m swim time.

- Races will commence once participants from the previous race are on the second leg.
- Maps of the course will be on display at the venue, and each competitor will need to be familiar with the course.
- During the relay races, cutoff times will be in place. If swimmers are not out of the water by the cutoff time, the team cyclist will be sent off. If a cyclist has not finished by the cutoff time, they will be taken off the course, and their runner will be sent off.
- Cutoff times will be at the discretion of the event organisers.

2027 Triathlon Relay Course Map
RELAYS
- Each team must comprise three athletes – one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner.
- Mixed teams are to compete in male division and the oldest age group category of the team.
- Relay teams must have three competitors from the same school.
Multiclass Eligibility
To be eligible for the multiclass triathlon and multiclass aquathlon events, athletes must:
- Be able complete a 300m swim, 10km bike and 2km run (triathlon) or 300m swim, 2km run (aquathlon) unassisted.
- Athletes may be assisted in transition, for both the swim to bike transition and the bike to run transition.
- Athletes who require a guide will also be considered for entry.
- Athletes must have a classification for triathlon or a classification for swimming or athletics with endorsement from a coach (or similar) that the athlete will be able to complete the aforementioned triathlon distances.
To be eligible to medal at the NSW All Schools championship, athletes will need to meet the medal eligibility guidelines. Triathlon Australia and your sector triathlon convenor can assist with provisional Triathlon Australia classification for those who wish to be eligible to medal.
