Wednesday 25 February 2026 – Triathlon and Aquathlon Individual Events
7:00 am – 8:00 am: Registration (All students)
8:30 am – 1:00 pm: Race times
Thursday 26 February 2026 – Triathlon Team Relays
7:00 am – 8:00 am: Registration (All students)
8:20 am – 12:30 pm: Race times
- There will be a short pre-race briefing approximately 10 minutes before each race.
- Race times are subject to change on race day.
- Races will commence once participants from the previous race are on the second leg.
- Maps of the course will be on display at the venue and each competitor will need to be familiar with the course.
- During the relay races, cutoff times will be in place. If swimmers are not out of the water by the cutoff time, the team cyclist will be sent off. If a cyclist has not finished by the cutoff time, they will be taken off the course and their runner will be sent off.
- Cutoff times will be at the discretion of the event organisers.
Triathlon individual entry fee $60.00 per person (including GST)
Aquathlon individual entry fee $45.00 per person (including GST)
Teams entry fee $75.00 per team (including GST)
Refunds will be at the discretion of each school sector.

N.B. Schools entering students in Triathlon and/or Aquathlon events may be required to provide a Teacher/School Official to act as an Official at the event.
Entry Guidelines
To compete in the NSW All Schools Triathlon, the following rules and entry guidelines must be followed.
Except as mentioned in the NSW All Schools Triathlon rules and entry guidelines, AusTriathlon competition rules will be followed.
Please note, this is a non-drafting event and draft zones will be monitored by AusTriathlon course officials.
Age Divisions
Age divisions are determined by the competitor’s age as of 31st December 2026
- Junior – born on or before 31st December 2012, 2013, 2014
- Intermediate – born on or before 31st December 2010,2011
- Seniors – born on or before 31st December 2007, 2008, 2009
Relays
- Each team must comprise three athletes – one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner.
- Mixed teams are to compete in male division and the oldest age group category of the team.
- Relay teams must have three competitors from the same school.
- Due to safety and capacity considerations, entries will be capped for the teams event. Each individual school is permitted to enter a maximum of five teams per age division and gender (for example five Intermediate Boys and five Intermediate Girls teams).

- Extra nominations will be considered after the closing date should there be capacity.
Multiclass Eligibility
To be eligible for the multiclass triathlon and multiclass aquathlon events, athletes must:
- Be able complete a 300m swim, 5km bike and 2km run (triathlon) or 300m swim, 1.2km run (aquathlon) unassisted.
- Athletes may be assisted in transition, for both the swim to bike transition and the bike to run transition.
- Athletes who require a guide will also be considered for entry.
- Have a classification for triathlon or a classification for swimming or athletics with endorsement from a coach (or similar) that the athlete will be able to complete the aforementioned triathlon distances.
