Eligibility Criteria:
- 15&O – turning 15 or older in YOC
- Students must have qualifications and experience in officiating, and will be required to attend the CIS Event so that their skill level can be assessed.
The method of nomination for all Student Officials is School Based – students are nominated directly to CIS by their school.
In most sports, access to the pathway for to reach School Sport Australia level is at Primary events.
If the maximum number of Student Officials is exceeded for any sport, CIS may apply NSWPSSA/NSW All Schools criteria and recommendations to advise which Student Officials will be eligible to attend the CIS event.
Student Officials who are selected to represent CIS will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation to and from the NSWPSSA/NSW All Schools Event.
Schools can contact CIS prior to the close of nominations for consideration if they have a student official who is of exceptional officiating standard but does not meet the age eligibility criteria.
