2025 NSW PSSA cross country championships – order of events

We are looking forward to our first event for Term 3 – Cross Country, this Wednesday 23/7/2025 at Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsley Park.

We have listed below some HELPFUL HINTS for the day. Information as provided is correct at the time of posting however subject to modifications and changes.

HELP – where can I get help and information at the Championship?

The best source of information on the day are the respective team managers together with event information on our website.

WEATHER – we are hoping for fine weather. If we have wet weather rest assured we are very familiar with these conditions. Competitors should arrive on the day ready to race.

Obviously come prepared for cold conditions, bring a change of clothes including shoes in case there is mud on the track. Label your clothes. In regard to jumpers in the marshalling area competitors will receive instructions from the track marshalls.

TRAVEL – expect and plan for traffic congestion especially earlier in the morning from all surrounding areas. If you plan for traffic and expect it and it doesn’t happen it will be a nice surprise.

Expect delays as you arrive and wait to park especially in the morning.

TIMETABLE – walk the course for the 2km event is 8:30am and 3km event 11am, weather permitting, this is optional only.

TICKETING – Competitors do not require a ticket. There is no limit to the amount of spectators who can attend. Entry fee has been included in the competitor levy, no entry fee is required to be paid on the day.
