- The competition will be conducted by NSWCHSSA
- Rules of the game will be based on World Aquatics – Water Polo.
- Number of Players: The number of players permitted per team is fourteen (14). Twelve (12) field players and a minimum of one (1) and a maximum of two (2) players must be designated as Goalkeeper(s).
- Game Times:
Round games – 40 minute time slot:
(running time/ no time outs)
4 x 7 minute quarters (28 minute playing time)
2 minutes between quarters 1/2 and 3/4
4 minutes at half time
Semi Finals – 40 minute time slot:
(running time/ no time outs)
4 x 7 minute quarters (28 minute playing time)
2 minutes between quarters 1/2 and 3/4
4 minutes at half time
Finals – 1 hour time slot:
(actual time / time outs allowed)
4 x 6 minute quarters
2 minutes between quarters 1/2 and 3/4
4 minutes at half time
DISPUTES & JUDICIARY
Procedures will be highlighted and summarized at the pre-championship meeting.
Judiciaries and appeals will follow the WPA Sanctioning Procedures. The tribunal will comprise of three people, and these three positions are listed below in order of preferred personnel:
- Chair: Host Officer or their deputy, Executive member who is not involved in the incident, or the Championship Convener if they are a qualified teacher.
- Member 1: Referee Coordinator
- Member 2: Neutral and experienced Team Coach or Manager who is a qualified teacher.
