COMPREHensive sports pathways

From the affiliated group of schools, NSWCISSC secondary and primary representative teams are selected to compete with their peers from the State and Catholic sectors at the various NSWPSSA (Primary) and NSW All Schools (Secondary) activities from which state representative teams are chosen to participate in sporting exchanges with teams from other states and territories.
The NSWCISSC is proud to be able to offer schools involvement in these various levels of participation and
competition through which they can provide for their students valuable sporting, social and cultural experiences.
Who Can Participate
To access the activities of the NSWCISSC, a student must first be a member of an existing independent school. The school needs to be a member NSWCISSC and affiliated to one of the Eligible Sporting Associations. The current eligible Sporting Associations are:
| AHIGS Sporting Committee – Independent Girls’ Schools Sports Association (IGSSA) – Secondary | 
| Athletics Association of Greater Public Schools (GPS) – Secondary | 
| Independent Primary Schools Heads Association – (IPSHA) Primary | 
| New Anglican Schools Sports Association (NASSA) – Primary |
