2022 NSWCIS Cross Country Championships |
The 2022 NSWCIS Cross Country Championships will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on Wednesday 8 June, 2022.
Please read through the following information carefully in preparation for the event.

Venue entry for all compeitiors, officials and spectators will be via the Main Entrance AA off Ferrers Road.
Spectator parking will be on the Skidpan.
Team and Association Official's Parking will be on the Paddock - a parking permit displayed on the dashboard will be required for this area.
After parking, venue entry is via Pit Lane ONLY.
Please note: Anyone displaying cold and flu like symptoms or feeling unwell should stay home and not attend the event.

Entry: 7:50am
Walk the Course: 9:00am - Secondary 4000m and 3000m
Course Closed: 9:50am
Event 1: 10:00am
Primary
Walk the Course: 1:00pm - Primary 3000m and 2000m
Course Closed: 1:45pm
Event 16: 1:53pm

Each Association has been allocated a section in the Grand Stand.

Following a review of the course conditions, it has been decided that the Championships will operate using the Wet Weather courses, due to some dangerous deep divots on the grass.

There will be an E-bike leading out each race.
N.B. The 6km race is based on 2 laps of the 3km course. The 8km race is based on 2 laps of the 4km course.
Marshalling
The Marshalling Area will be located on the grass area beside the Grandstand.

CIS Merchandise will be available for purchase on the day.
The Merchandise Stand will be located under the Grand Stand along with the the coffee and food carts.

CIS Primary and Secondary Cross Country Teams |
The top 6 place getters in each event at the Primary level, and the top 10 place getters at the Secondary level automatically qualify for the CIS Primary and Secondary Cross Country Team.
This team will compete at the NSW PSSA/All Schools Cross Country Championships to be held on Friday 22 July at Sydney Motorsport Park.
CIS Team Uniform
Competitors successful in gaining a positon in the CIS Primary or Secondary Cross Country Team will need to report to the Hinxman Room following their race to register, pay the Team Member Levy, and purchase Mandatory Uniform Items.
Costs associated with competing at the next level include the Team Member Levy: $40 and Mandatory Uniform Items: minimum $217.50
Please note: Valour Sport is the CIS Official Merchandise partner. CIS Team Uniform must be Valour branded.

Additional Carnival Information |
First Aid: First Aid is provided by Sydney Motorsport Park. The First Aid are is located in the Yellow Building, next to the finish line.
Dress: Competitors must compete in their Association uniform. Running shoes must be worn - no spikes allowed. No portable media players or multi-purpose pocket computers allowed. E.g. No iPods.
Food & Drink: Refreshments, lunches, drinks and snacks are available from food outlets at the centre.
Live Streaming: Unfortunately this event will not be live streamed.
Wet Weather: The CIS Cross Country will go ahead regardless of the weather. In adverse conditions students should come prepared with extra clothes for after their event. Attendees should be prepared with wet weather jackets, umbrellas etc.
