Trials Time:

9:30am - 3:00pm;

Trials Format:

Trial Matches will be played, with all Matches officiated by accreditated Officials;

COVID- 19 Guidelines:

All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.  

At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

Parking:

There will be plenty of Car Parking available at the Venue; 

First Aid:

A qualified First Aid Officer will be in attendance for the duration of the Event;

Dress:

Jerseys will be supplied, but Players will need to bring own boots and playing shorts;

Food & Drink
Canteen Facilities will be available at the Venue throughout the day, but it is recommended that Players bring their own snacks, lunch and water; 

Players seeking exemption from Phase One Trial:

For 18's Boys, any player who has represented at a NRL Junior Representative Harold Matthews Squad, NSW 17's State of Origin Team or SG Ball Squad is eligible to apply for an exemption from the Phase One Trial.

2022 CIS Rugby League – 15s/18s Boys Exemption Application Form

Application Forms must be completed by the School or Parents before the date of nominations closing, they must include all details including contact name and details for the relevant Junior Representative Coach.

Please Note: each application will be considered on merot and in consultation with the NRL Clubs...an application for exemption will not guarantee an exemption.

Those unsuccessful with their application must attend Phase One of the Trials in order to eligible for selection. 

CIS Team Final Selection Camp:

A squad of 32-38 players will be selected to attend the Rugby League Camp/Phase Two Trial. The list of attendees for the Camp will appear on the website after selection in the related documents section.

The Camp will cost approximately $200.00 and the expected cost for players selected in the 18 Years Team could be in the vicinity of $2000.00...however due to COVID there may be a need for Players to travel and stay with Parents in 2022. This will significantly reduce the cost of the levies but increase costs for Families...more information will be made available at the Trials/Camp.

Final Selected Teams will be heading to compete in the ASSRL National Championships in Redcliffe from 2nd July to 8th July 2022.    

N.B. Any player who may be applying for Indigenous Funding support, please be aware in the past this has resulted in less than half of player levies being covered. Indigenous funding does not cover uniform costs at all.
