CIS Secondary Boys AFL 15 Years & Under Selection Trials

Trials Time:
8:30am - 2:30pm;
Trials Format:
Students will be placed into teams on the day. A Round Robin between teams will be played with matches fifteen minutes in length - no break (based on 6 teams). Each student will play 3 of the 9 games. There will be a 5 minute changeover between matches.

Following the Round Robin a squad of 36 will be announced. These players will play an additional 30 minute match (15+5+15) after which the CIS team of 22 players will be announced.
COVID- 19 Guidelines:
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.
At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

Parking:
Parking will be available at the Venue;
First Aid:
A First Aid Officier will be in attendance for the duration of the Event;
Dress:
School Sports Uniform (Jerseys will be provided on the day);
Players should also bring boots, shorts, mouthguards (compulsory), strapping, water bottles, sunscreen and any medications they may require eg. asthma sprays or epi-pens;
Food & Drink:
Canteen facilities will be available throughout the day, but it is recommended that Students bring their own snacks, lunch and water;
CIS Team:
A CIS AFL Team (22 players) will be named at the conclusion of the trial. Selected players are to remain briefly to meet with team management and so that organisational matters can be attended to.
This team will go on to compete at the NSW All Schools AFL Championships to be held on 30-31 May 2021.
There is a cost associated with competing at the next level including a players levy (tbc) and the purchase of mandatory uniform items in the vicinity of $308.
