ATTENTION - PLAY-OFFS RESCHEDULED:

NSWCIS Primary Boys & Girls Tennis Play-offs rescheduled for Friday 11th March 2022 @ Pymble Ladies College.

N.B. Players who have progressed to the Play-offs have been notified via email.

 

CIS Trial Information

Trial Time
Registration 8:30am ; 9:00am - 3pm Trials

Trial Format

  • Pools with Round Robin Matches- each match first to 4. The top two players (based on games won) from each pool will move into playoffs for CIS team selection
  • Students will be given their draw on arrival for matches
  • Students who turn 13 in the year of competition may compete for CIS at the PSSA Championships but are ineligible for selection in the NSWPSSA team for School Sport Australia

COVID- 19 Guidelines:
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.

At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

The King's School: No spectators on site. Parents, relatives and friends of participants must drop off participants, not remain on site and return at the end of the session.

Drop-off and Pick-up

  • Drop-off and Pick-up  will take place near the courts...Parents and Guardians will not be permitted to leave their vehicles. Please respect any signage and/or directions in relation to parking near the courts and elsewhere in the school grounds

First Aid

  • The Convenor will provide basic First Aid equipment.
  • Emergency services will be called in the case of serious injury or illness

Dress

  • Players are to wear school sports uniform or tennis clothes.
  • All players to bring sunscreen and a cap

Food & Drink

  • All players to bring own lunch and drink and any snacks they may need.
  • Ensure players have plenty of water

CIS Team

  • The 5 Girls and 5 Boys selected in the CIS team will be announced at the end of the day
  • Boys & Girls selected will need to remain to receive instruction for uniform orders and information concerning the next pathway
  • Expenses to compete at the next level include the players levy ( covers costs associated with the tournament such as venue hire, first aid, team photos etc).   Team members will also be required to purchase mandatory uniform of approximately $320.
