Trials Time:

8:30am - 2:15pm; 

N.B. - No Access to the Pool prior to 8.30am;

Trial Format:

Association Based Gala Day Format - incorporating selection trials...Possibles versus Probables will be played only if required by selectors;

At the conclusion of the day the CIS Team will be announced;

A Draw will be loaded on this page following close of nominations;

COVID- 19 Guidelines:
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.

At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

Knox Grammar School:

  • No parents/spectators allowed in the Aquatic Centre. Official and Competitor access only.
  • Staff are asked to sign in either using the QR code or the form provided.
  • Competitors and Staff are requested to enter and exit using the Woodville Road entrance for access to the Swimming Pool.

Parking:

There is NO PARKING available within the school and there is RESTRICTED PARKING in the surrounding streets;

Travel by train and walking from either Wahroonga or Warrawee Stations is recommended.

Dress:

Association / School swimmers; 

Association caps to be worn if available...coloured sets will be provided for those without Association caps.

Food & Drink:

There will be no Canteen Facilities available throughout the day, but it is recommended that Students provide their own snacks, lunch and water; 

The local shops at Wahroonga are a 5 minute walk from the school; 

CIS Team:

A CIS Team of 13 players will be named at the conclusion of the trials. These students will be required to remain for a brief meeting with team management following the trials. It is anticipated the team will go on to compete as a CIS team in an invitational exchange with Queensland , CCC and CHS (dates and costs TBC). Expenses to compete at this level include a players levy ( covers venue hire, referees etc) and Mandatory unfiorm costs of apporximately $150.

Officials:
Any student that has nominated as a Water Polo referee to access the representative pathway will need to be assessed at the CIS Water Polo Trials.  Any student referee selected will be announced along with the CIS Boys Water Polo Team at the conclusion of the trial and will need to remain briefly to meet with CIS Team Management.
