RESCHEDULED DATE:
The rescheduled date for the Secondary Boys Softball Trials has been set for Monday 9th May 2022 at Blacktown International Sportspark.

Trial Time
10:00am - 1:00pm
 

Trial Format

• Players will be divided into groups for various skills- batting, pitching, catching, fielding, sliding and running.
• Game plays will also be used to so players can demonstrate their understanding of the game

COVID- 19 Guidelines:
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.

At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

Parking
Parking is readily available at the centre

First Aid

• Basic First Aid will be available to treat any minor injuries and illness.
• Emergency services will be called in the case of serious injury

Dress
All Players are to bring: 

- Shin Pads
- Bat
- Ball
- Glove
- Mouthguard
- Catcher's gear if intending to trial for this position
- All gear should be clearly marked
- All players are to wear knickerbockers or similar for protection when sliding
- A cap and sun block should be worn
 

Food & Drink

• Bring own lunch, drinks and any required snacks
• Ensure all players have plenty of water

CIS Team

• The team of 12 will be announced at the completion of the trial.
• All  selected players will need to remain to receive instruction for uniform orders and information concerning the next pathway
• Costs to compete at the next level include a player levy of approximately $70 (covers ground hire, first aid, referees etc) and mandatory uniform costs of approximately $100.
