Carnival Entry
Carnival Entry will be through the Mouse Hole entry on the Eastern side of the pool - (off the carpark at the Diving end of the pool). Whilst awaiting entry please follow directions of staff and be aware of physical distancing.

Session 1 Warm Up - Session 1 Divers Only - 8:00am

All events will be combined Boys and Girls however, results will be calculated separately.

Marshalling and Warm – Up
All competitors are requested to the marshalling area prior to their event to check dive sheets and dive order.
Please check dive sheets carefully and inform the referee of any discrepancies. All dives will be announced as per dive sheet.
All competitors will be allowed an individual warm-up immediately prior to their event.
Presentations
Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group.
Presentations for all events will be held in the diving pool area immediately following the conclusion of each event.
Place getters are requested to come quickly to the presentation area when announced.

COVID-19 Guidelines
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.
At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

One spectator/adult per competitor
Carnival Official / School Staff / Coaches / Spectators must QR code in.
The carnival will be swum under the ARRIVE, COMPETE, LEAVE protocols.
Showers will not be available during the event. CIS recomends competitors arrive ready to compete and limit use of the change room facilities .
Spectators are encouraged to stay in the grandstand area. NO PARENTS WILL BE ALLOWED IN the MARSHALLING AREA or ON POOL DECK .
Uniform Areas - Please practice physical distancing whilst queuing for uniform or CIS general apparel and follow all instructions from staff. Contactless payment only - no cash
No Singing or Chanting
Parking
There will be free parking for four (4) hours and $6.00 for every hour afterwards.
First Aid
Provided by Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre
Dress
Swimmers must fall in line with FINA rules and requirements regarding swimming gear.
All competitors in individual events must wear Association cap. School relay teams, provided all caps are the same, may wear either School or association caps for the Relays only at CIS and All Schools
Food & Drink
The main cafe will not be accessible during the carnival. The concession on the Eastern side of the grandstand will be open. CIS strongly recommends competitors bring food and snacks with them.
CIS Team
The first 3 places in the CIS trials will be selected for the NSW All Schools Championships These places will be announced at the conclusion of each event after the CIS presentation.
All CIS medallists must submit All Schools dives to Chris Lang at the CIS Carnival.
All divers selected to compete at the NSW All Schools must register for the CIS, pay the levy and purchase CIS uniform at the conclusion of their event. The CIS Uniform is new and all competitors are required to purchase the mandatory items, regardless of whether they have been in the team before.
