CIS Primary Boys and Girls Touch Football Selection Trials

Trials Time:

9:00am - 2:30pm;

Trials Format:

This is a Selection Trial based on individual nominations involving skills, drills and match play.

All Triallists will be placed in Barbarian style teams for match play on the day. A Possibles vs Probables Match may be held if required.

COVID- 19 Guidelines:
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.  

At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

Parking:

There is Parking available both at the Venue and along the surrounding streets;

First Aid:

A First Aid Officer will be in attendance for the duration of the event.

Students should bring their own strapping tape if required;

Students using Asthma Puffers or epi-pens should have them with them; 

Dress:

School Sports Uniform and appropriate footwear should be worn;

Students are advised to bring cap and sunscreen with them.

Food & Drink:

Canteen Facilities will be available fore the duartion of the Event., but it is still recommended that you bring your own snacks, lunch and water;

CIS Team:

Both a CIS Primary Boys and a CIS Primary Girls Touch Football Team will be announced at the end of the Trials;

The respective make-ups of the Team will be between 12-14 players;.

Selected students are to remain briefly to speak with team management.   Please note there are costs associated with competing at the next level including a Mandatory Players Levy (approximately $220) and Mandatory Uniform Costs ( approximately $293) . 

The CIS Girls team  and the CIS Boys team will go to will go on to compete at their respective  PSSA Touch Football Championships, for the :

PSSA Girls - Tuggerah 31 August - 2 September  

PSSA Boys - St Mary's from 10-12 August 

NSWPSSA Teams will be named at the end of both Championships to compete at the SSA Exchange in November.

Wet Weather:

In the case of bad weather students are advised to bring wet weather gear with them. Limited shelter is available. Should wet weather cause the closure of fields alternate wet weather arrangements will be posted on this website.
