Trials Time:

9:30am - 3:00pm;

Trials Format:

Morning Session – until approx 11am – skill sessions run by NRL Game Development Officers – whilst being watched by Selectors;

After the Break - Players will be involved in Trial games which will be officiated by qualified Referees;

COVID- 19 Guidelines:
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue. 

At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

Parking:

There will be adequate parking available at the Venue's Car-Park;

First Aid:

A qualified First Aid Officer will be in attendance for the duration of the Event; 

Dress:

Jerseys will be supplied, but players will be required to bring own boots, shorts and mouthguards;

Food & Drink:

Canteen Facilities will be available throughout the day, however it is recommended that Players bring their own snacks, lunch and water;  

CIS Team:

A Team of 17 players will be selected to represent CIS Open Primary Rugby League. The team list of will appear on the website after selection. The expected cost for players selected in the Primary Team could be in the vicinity of $500.

N.B. If selected players are sourcing funding from any avenue, CIS will require all money to be paid up front and individuals may then approach their clubs etc. for reimbursement. CIS will supply any documentation possible in order to complete this process.

Travel and accommodation and supervision of all selected players will be the responsibility of parents to arrange. CIS Officials will not be looking after the team outside of training hours and at the match venue.

1-2 training sessions will also be organised and players should be available to attend these dates.

A Training Day will be held for all Selected Players at the Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen on a date to be confirmed. Other additional Training Sessions maybe held at the discretion of the Coaching Staff prior to the PSSA Championships.

All travel and accommodation bookings and costs are to be sourced by player parents – all players will stay with parents whilst at the PSSA Championships which will be played in Tamworth – from Wednesday June 16 - Friday June 18.

Cost associated with competing at the PSSA Championships include a Player Levy (covers admin costs, officials costs, team entry fee, team photos) and the purchase of mandatory uniform items approximately $332.50.

Any player who may be applying for Indigenous Funding support, please be aware in the past this has resulted in less than half of player levies being covered. Indigenous funding does not cover uniform costs at all.
