CIS Trial:

The Championships are an 18 hole stroke event for both boys and girls. The draw for the day's play will be loaded as a document at the bottom of this page once it has been finalised.

Players shall start at the time and in the order arranged, unless directed to do otherwise by the CIS Convener.

Supervision:

Students are asked to check in with the CIS Convenor on arrival and departure on the day;

Parking:

Parking is available at the Golf Course;

First Aid:

Players should take precaution to avoid heat related conditions such as sunburn & heatstroke. Competitors must bring a hat and sunscreen. Plenty of fluid should be drunk throughout the day;

Asthmatics must carry their own Asthma Puffers and Anaphylactics must carry their Epi-pens at all times;

Dress:

Dress regulations of the Host Club must be adhered too;

Food & Drink:

Food and Drink will be available for purchase at the Clubhouse, but Students are encouraged to carry snacks and water in their Golf Bag;


CIS Team:

A NSW CIS Team will be selected after the 18 hole CIS Trial. Players will be selected on their score from the Trial and also their handicap. The number of players selected will be determined by the CIS convenor and the NSW All-Schools convenor. The CIS team will compete in the NSW All Schools Golf Championships to be held in May. This event will be: 54 Holes stroke (Team Event and State Stroke Play Championships) over three (3) days- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 18 holes each day. The top 16 boys and 16 girls from the stroke play will qualify for 4 rounds of Match Play to be played on Thursday and Friday. These students will be considered for NSW All Schools team selection. As a result, if you would like to be considered for state selection, you will need to be available to play for the entire week in May. 

These players selected in the CIS Team will be required to attend a brief team meeting with the convenor/manager following the event so that organisational matters can be attended to. Please note that there will be both uniform and levy costs associated with competing at the next level.

Wet Weather:

The golf will be held regardless of weather. In the case of storms, there may be a delay in play. Players to ensure they have wet weather gear with them.
