COVID- 19 Guidelines:
All competitors, spectators and officials are to adhere to all COVID – 19 Guidelines being applied at a CIS venue.

At any venue, all competitors, spectators and officials are to maintain physical distancing, wash/sanitise their hands regularly and refrain form entering a venue if they are felling unwell.

For greater detail please refer to the Risk Assessment for this sport and the CIS Covid-19 Return to Sport Guidelines loaded on the website under Handbook.

Please Note:  No spectators are allowed.   The trials will be attended only by the competitors  and the officials/ selectors required to staff the event.   Please follow the COVID guidelines at the venue.   

Parking

Parking is very limited in surrounding streets.

First Aid

Convenor will have basic First Aid. Should there be a severe injury or illness emergency services will be contacted.

Dress

Water Polo costume, towel and warm clothing - track suit or similar to maintain warmth between trial times.

Water polo caps will be provided .

Food & Drink

Students are to bring  refreshments and lunch with them.    No canteen facilities are available .
No food or drink other than a plastic water bottle is to be taken in the pool area.

CIS Team

At the end of selections the CIS team will be announced.  The CIS team will compete in an exchange with Queensland Dates and costs for competing at the exchange are (tbc) Mandatory uniform items will cost approximately $191. Those selected are to remain for a brief meeting with team officials at the conclusion of the trial . 

Student Officials

Any student who has been nominated as a Water Polo referee to access the representative pathway will need to be assessed at the CIS Water Polo Trials.  Any student referee selected will be announced along with the CIS Girls  Water Polo Team at the conclusion of the trial and will need to remain briefly to meet with CIS team management.
