CIS/NSW All Schools Triathlon 2019
School Relay Teams – Expression of Interest Form
Must be completed and submitted by Monday 26 November 

Due to the significant increase in participant numbers, and subsequent safety concerns there will be caps placed on all age groups and divisions in the team relay events only . In order to maximise CIS entries schools are to place an expression of interest as to how many teams, they would like to  enter in each event. School teams should be ranked from 1 to a maximum of 10. Once expressions of interest have closed, CIS will confirm how many teams a school can enter in each event. It is anticipated that schools will be limited to between three and five teams. The remaining teams will be placed on a wait list.  Schools are asked to be as accurate as possible. Schools should have all details of all teams on the wait list ready for nomination if called up. 

N.B.  Schools must submit an Expression of Interest if they wish to compete in the Relay Events at the 2019 NSW All Schools Triathlon.

Please consider the following when indicating the number of teams you would like to enter:

Swimmers MUST be competent and able to meet the demands of the 400m open water swim leg. Any students not meeting these expectations will be removed from the water immediately. This decision will be at the discretion of course officials / water safety.

Equipment Restrictions - There are a number of restrictions on the bike. The bicycle may be on-road, off-road or youth style. No “time trial” style bicycles are allowed. No recumbent style bicycles are allowed. No BMX bikes are allowed. Please refer to the entry information for all restrictions.

Team Managers must be present on the day.   A team manager can look after 5 teams in any one event.  If more than 5 teams is entered in an event an additional team manager is required.

Expressions of Interest must be submitted by Monday 26th November. Schools will be notified of how many teams they are able to enter in each event by the end of the year.  Entries in excess of the school allocation will not be accepted.   Additional team entries may be considered after the nomination closing date across all three sectors, however this will be at the discretion of the organising committee.
