CIS Team

All competitors who participate at the NSWCIS carnival should be available for selection in the CIS Team in the events in which they compete. Should this not be the case, individual Association Delegates and Convenors should be notified so that they can inform the selectors prior to the meet.
Generally only those who compete at the CIS Championships will be eligible for selection in the CIS Primary Athletics Team. Usually selections will be based on the top 3 placegetters per event and the NSWCIS Selection Policy (see Operational Guidelines). Students placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd must report to the Madison de Rozario Room to register, purchase uniform and pay the levy. Changes at the NSWPSSA Championships due to illness or injury will be at the discretion of the Team Managers.

Fourth place-getters: are generally reserves. Should there be a withdrawal students will be contacted via their school prior to the NSWPSSA Championships.

Multi-Class competitors: will be ranked in Senior (11 & over) and Junior (10 & Under) events for selection in the CIS team. These selections are subject to placing on the basis of classification and pathway qualifying standards.

Selection in the CIS Team will be confirmed on the CIS website following the CIS Championships.
