• Individual – direct to CIS, nominated by the school

• 18&U Secondary – Turning 16 to 18 as at 31/12/YOC

Cost

A sport nomination fee of $33.04 (inclusive of GST) per student will be charged to the school at the end of each term.

Further Representation – NSWCIS Team

• A NSWCIS Team will be selected to attend the Australian Schools Championships. There will be a player’s levy and uniform costs involved with competing at this level.

Requests for Exemptions for Phase One of the Trials:

For 18's Boys, any player who has represented in a NRL Junior Representative Harold Matthews Squad, NSW 17's State of Origin Team or SG Ball Squad is eligible to apply for an exemption from the Phase One Trial.

2024 CIS Rugby League – 18s Boys Exemption Application Form

Application Forms must be completed by the School or Parents before the Nomination closing date, and must include all details including Contact Name and details for the relevant Junior Representative Coach.

N.B. each application will be considered on merit and in consultation with NRL Clubs...an application for exemption will not guarantee an exemption.

For those who are unsuccessful in their application they must attend the Phase One Trial in order to be eligible for selection.

As per CIS Operational Guidelines, injury or illness is not considered as a reason for exemption from trials.
