This is an Inter-Association Championship
Parking
Parking $18 a day with a validated ticket. Ticket validation available at reception.
First Aid
A First Aider will be in attendance at the Warm Up Track throughout the day.
Students who use asthma puffers or Epi-Pens should have them at the Championships.
Dress
Association Athletic Singlet must be worn.
All competitors must wear footwear. Spike shoes are permitted. When spiked shoes are worn the maximum length for all events is 7mm with the exception of High Jump where it is 9mm.
All competitors and officials are advised to bring cap, sunscreen and water bottle with them.
Food & Drink
A canteen will be available at the competition track only,not at the Warm Up Track. Students are advised to take snacks/lunch and drinks with them.
Wet Weather
The CISAthletics Championships will be held regardless of the weather. Some events may be delayed or cancelled at the discretion of the Athletics Committee if the nature of the event causes safety concerns in the rain.

3 entries per Association per event ie. 3 cometitors per event/per gender in both track and field events. Students must compete in the applicable age group below. Please note the 3000m and Relay exceptions also below. All ages are calculated as at 31/12/in the year of competition (yoc)

The following events will be held:
Track Events- 100, 200, 400, 800,1500, 3000, Hurdles
Field Events- High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shotput, Discus, Javelin.
Please Note the Following Exceptions
Triple Jump - 12-13 Years
This should be your best three athletes across both age groups. Three nominations only for this event.
3000m - The following age groups will apply
12-14 years
15-16 Years
17-19 Years
Relays - competitors may only compete in 1 relay
14 & U
Open
Multi-Class Athlete events - Associations may enter 3 x 15 & Under competitors + 3 x 16 & Over competitors
TRACK - Track Events - will be seeded according to entry times.
FIELD EVENTS- High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shotput, Discus, Javelin. Competitors will have three attempts only.
Track Events will take precedence over field events.
Multi-Class (MC) Competitors - All entered Para Athletes must have a current valid classification- see Athletics Australia Mastersheet or Sport Inclusion Australia. Age Groups - 16 & Over, 15 & Under; MC Events - 100, 200, 800, Long Jump, Shotput, Discus.

CIS Secondary Athletics Championship Rules
The CIS Secondary Athletics Championships are conducted under IAAF rules unless stipulated in the program.
Athletes will not be able to use their own implements for throws- the only allowable equipment will be that provided by SOPAC.
CIS Secondary Athletics Merit Team will be selected based on top 3 places for each event
CIS will not be submitting a team to the NSW All Schools Athletics Championships. Students that wish to compete in these championships will need to submit an individual entry form. These are available on the Athletics NSW website. Students are not permitted to compete in CIS athletics strip at the NSW All Schools Track and Field Meet.
To be eligible for a CIS award in athletics, athletes will need to be named in the CIS Merit Team, place 1st,2nd or 3rd at NSW All Schools, be selected in the NSW All Schools Team and compete at the National Schools Athletics Championships.
